Terms and Conditions and Usage Rules

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These terms govern the creation of a business account and permitted use of CatalogHub. Individual agreements take precedence. Prices, service scope, term, termination, availability and support are governed by the relevant offer or agreement.

1. Provider and scope

CatalogHub is provided by forsix GmbH, Eichendorffstr. 11, 71540 Murrhardt, Germany, email: info@forsix.de. The service is intended for businesses and persons acting professionally, not private consumers or minors.

2. Registration, right of use and paid services

Registration of a business account is free of charge. CatalogHub currently offers neither an online subscription nor a generally available free plan. A payment obligation arises only where the customer expressly accepts an individual offer from forsix GmbH or enters into another separate paid agreement.

Registration, email verification, conclusion of a Data Processing Agreement or the mere technical availability of functions does not, by itself, create a claim to productive use or a permanent or free right of use. Productive use requires an accepted individual offer or express authorisation by forsix.

Where forsix expressly permits or provisionally tolerates use before an individual agreement is concluded, this is a free test or goodwill use limited to the communicated purpose and period. Unless otherwise expressly agreed, there is no entitlement to a particular scope of functions, availability or permanent continuation. The permission may be ended with effect for the future. It does not automatically become a paid service.

The individual offer specifies in particular the scope of service, usage limits, prices, taxes, payment terms, start date, term and termination. Individual agreements take precedence over these Terms. Anyone acting for a business must be authorised to conclude the relevant agreement.

3. Purpose of the service

Issuers can upload price lists and related business documents, share them with selected customers and make them available through protected accounts. CatalogHub is not a public file-hosting, streaming, backup or torrent service.

An issuer may allow individual customers to upload named price lists for that issuer. Customers may manage only their own authorised lists. Replacing or deleting a file permanently removes the previous file from active storage; the issuer is responsible for retrieving it in time through the workspace or API.

4. Accounts and credentials

  • Information must be accurate and kept current.
  • Passwords and API keys must be kept confidential and accessible only to authorised persons.
  • Suspected misuse or loss of credentials must be reported promptly to info@forsix.de.
  • Issuers may create customer accounts and contact details only where they have a legal basis and properly inform the affected persons.

5. Permitted content

Price lists, product catalogues and directly related business documents may be uploaded in the enabled file formats and within the size and storage limits assigned to the issuer.

6. Prohibited content and use

In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • illegal content, malware, executable programs or concealed active content;
  • content infringing copyright, trade marks, privacy, data protection or other third-party rights;
  • use as general file storage, backup, download portal, streaming or torrent service;
  • circumvention of file-type, size, storage, security or access restrictions;
  • personal or specially protected data that are unnecessary for or unlawfully processed for the agreed purpose;
  • attempts to access another account, customer, file or technical system.

7. Technical content inspection

Uploads are inspected locally using rules. The inspection may identify file signatures, archives and archive bombs, embedded executables, formulas, external data connections, hidden worksheets, additional documents and configured confidentiality terms. No AI is used and the file is not sent to another provider for inspection.

The inspection is an additional security measure and may miss content or produce a false finding. It does not replace review by the issuer.

8. Review status

  • Active: The file may be delivered under its sharing permissions.
  • Review required: The file remains unavailable to customers until an authorised person reviews and approves or deletes it.
  • Blocked: The file has been deactivated because of a non-overridable security finding or administrative action.

Files containing formulas require human approval by default. An expressly configured exception may permit local formulas in future versions; external data access, executable content and other hard security findings remain blocked.

9. Moderation and measures

forsix may reject or temporarily deactivate content, restrict access, or delete or suspend content and accounts where there are specific indications of illegality, security risks, abuse or a breach of these rules. Measures are taken objectively and proportionately where possible, taking the circumstances into account. Acute security risks may require immediate action.

The detected reason is shown to the issuer in the review status unless security or legal reasons prevent this.

10. Reports and review

Illegal content or breaches of these rules may be reported to info@forsix.de. The report should identify the price list or address, explain the reason, provide suitable evidence and include contact details.

A person affected by a content or account measure may request a further human review at the same address, identifying the relevant account or price list and explaining why the measure should be changed.

11. Responsibility and backups

Issuers remain responsible for their content, its lawfulness and accuracy, and customer access granted. Original files and business-critical records must be backed up appropriately outside CatalogHub.

12. Changes

These rules may be updated where required by features, security requirements or law. Material changes are communicated to affected contracting parties in an appropriate form. The version published on this page applies.
